Finding Relief from Chronic Pain

Chronic pain can feel overwhelming—draining the joy from life and leaving us feeling like a shadow of who we once were. When numerous referrals to doctors, specialists, and imaging tests fail to bring relief, it may be time to consider a new approach.

Modern neuroscience is transforming the way we understand and treat chronic pain. Rather than seeing pain purely as a physical issue, we now recognize the critical role the brain and nervous system play in how pain is processed and experienced. By learning to shift how we respond to pain, we can actually begin to change the pain itself—leading to real, lasting healing.

My work focuses on evidence-based, mind-body approaches that address the root causes of chronic pain. The main modalities I use include:

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Somatic Awareness

  • Brainspotting

  • ​

These tools—especially when used in combination—can lead to significant symptom relief and long-term benefits. I’ve had the privilege of supporting over a hundred individuals as they’ve healed from conditions such as:

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Chronic back and neck pain

  • Tension headaches and migraine

  • TMJ and jaw pain

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

  • Pelvic pain

  • Nerve pain

  • Muscle tension and myofascial pain

  • Post-surgical or unexplained persistent pain

  • Chronic fatigue and related pain syndromes
